Vacuum Forming

Our in-house equipment allows Goldleaf Plastics to vacuum form complex and elaborate plastic shapes and detailed plastic parts that require precise inside dimensions with deep draw. We build all of the necessary molds in-house which saves time, ensures accuracy and allows quicker project turnaround. With both small and large capacity vacuum formers, we can "pair” the right equipment with the specific size and quantity requirements of your project to ensure the most efficient, cost-effective fabrication.

Our vacuum forming equipment and expertise are used to fabricate hundreds of different components and products such as bakery trays, trailer tubs, truck bed liners, ATV roofs, gas tank shields and storage bins.

Our vacuum forming (or thermoforming) equipment includes:

Monark S-Series Single-Station Small-Format Vacuum Former
  • Allowable sheet size: 48” by 72”

  • Allowable materials include: Acrylic, ABS, High-Density Polyethylene Sheet, Polystyrene, PETG and Polycarbonate
  • Used for prototyping and small run production

MAAC Comet Three-Station Rotary Vacuum Former
  • Three-stage, high-speed rotary vacuum former
  • Allowable sheet size: 60” by 96”

  • Allowable materials include: Acrylic, ABS, High-Density Polyethylene Sheet, Polystyrene, PETG and Polycarbonate
  • Used for large quantity runs
