Other Equipment

Along with processes such as routing, printing and drape or vacuum forming, each project we manufacture at Goldleaf Plastics has its own unique set of additional fabrication requirements - depending on the specific needs of each customer.

This can range from gluing to line bending to custom edge finishing to buffing to a whole host of other processes. Many of these require a high degree of expert hand work, and some also require use of very specialized equipment. At times, we may even fabricate proprietary, one-of-a-kind tools to complete the necessary work.

You can rest assured that Goldleaf Plastics has the equipment, expertise and/or ingenuity to provide whatever is needed!

For example:

  • Sanding allows us to prep edges for other finishing techniques.
  • Flame polishing allows us to create a clear finished edge on thin gauge material.
  • Buffing allows us to create a clear finished edge on thicker material.
  • Deburring allows us to remove any sharp edges.
  • Laminators allow us to apply additional surface coatings to our material such as vinyl, magnet or even multiple sheets.
  • A wide variety of both standard and proprietary shop tools and equipment allows us to quickly, expertly and cost-effectively build prototypes and molds in-house.
  • A large, integrated Plastic and Wood Dust Collection System installed throughout our entire plant helps maintain a clean work environment by minimizing the disbursement of dust and dirt. This helps ensure the quality fabrication of your product.

At Goldleaf Plastics, we not only stay abreast of changing technology, new equipment and advances in plastic fabrication, but in many cases you'll find that we're leading the way!
